Judith Reynolds Waterman


Her work has been juried in and exhibited in Detroit, Livonia, Northville, Plymouth and Greenfield SC.

 

In 2014, her work has been juried into the PCAC "Out of the Blue" exhibit, "West of Center exhibit" at NAH and the VAAL Spring Exhibit, .  Detroit Artist Market invited her to present her monoprints in their Garden Party.

 

Drawn to the possibilities of colors and textures, her work ranges from impressionistic realism to abstract based on naturally occurring images.  She often uses a pallet knife to achieve multi-layered, multi-hued effect.

 

She has studied at PCAC, Schoolcraft College with Jamie Golob and Debby Zuccarini, with Nancy Reyner in Albuquerque at New Mexico Art League and in small groups with other teachers.

 

She was leader of two Bring a Child to Art summer sessions sponsored by VAAL.
